Old Monk Xuyun 24

Old Monk Xuyun 24

Strangely, he found that wherever the Old Monk walked, the floodwaters did not rush into the rice fields.

Instead, they flowed eastward along the mountain side, several feet higher than the rice fields and stream banks.

That is to say, the flood does not flow downwards, but rushes upwards.

In this way, the rice fields that have just been transplanted are saved from being flooded by floods and mud.

After that, the Old Monk walked to Foyin Bridge and stood there.

Master Hongqing came back and called Master Yinkai.

When the master heard about it, he arranged for the slope to be built and walked to the Old Monk himself.

He asked him: "It's raining so hard. Why did you come out alone?" the Old Monk said. : "If I don't come out, the dozens of acres of rice fields above will be gone and they will be covered by flash floods and silt.

How will there be any millet to harvest then?"

At that time, we saw that there were not many raindrops on the Old Monk's jacket, and only the Arhat straw sandals he was wearing were wet by the rain.

It is true that wherever buddhist cultivators pass by, water must give way.
